Macro intnorm for Integration Normalization

To make integration on the different systems easier and consistent, the NMR facility staff (thanks Ulli) have developed a macro called intnorm for integration normalization. To use this macro you first must set up your integrals in the usual way with lvl/tlt to flatten the areas that do not contain peaks and then resets to cut the integral into peak size bites. After this is done you type intnorm and you will see integral values displayed in the bottom window and under the peaks in the spectra. You are then asked for the number of nuclei that you want to assign to a peak of your choice. You are then asked to supply the integral value for that peak (from the list in the lower window). Finally, an updated display gives the new integral values referenced to the peak that you chose. If you want to change your peak choice or number of nuclei for your peak you just type intnorm again and repeat the above steps. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask or e-mail any of the facility staff.

Enjoy
