Lock Stability Test
Using a sample of 75 mg sucrose in 0.5 ml D2O and 250 mM NaCl, perform the
following experiment:
90(H) - 1/2JCH - P1 - 90X(13C) - Acquire
P1 = 90(13C)
phase cycling: P1 (x, -x); receiver (x, -x)
Use a long recycle delay to allow for complete relaxation
Two-scan experiments (with 4 dummy scans) should be performed, spearated by
20 second delays. A total of 60 such experiments should be performed
on a weekday any time between 9am and 5pm.
- The magnitude of the center band should not exceed the magnitude
of the satellite bands in more than 10 of the experiments.
- In no case should the magnitude of the center band be more than twice the
magnitude of the satellite bands.
