I-500 NMR Spectrometer
This 500 MHz Varian Inova NMR Spectrometer is designed for
long-term experiments at low concentrations, such as
multidimensional experiments using biochemical molecules. This
instrument is predominantly used by biochemists and other chemists
who need long-term, high resolution, or high sensitivity acquisitions.
I-500 Features include:
- 500 MHz (11.74 Tesla) Oxford Magnet
- 28-channel "Super Shims"
- 3 radio frequency channels
- fourth channel available upon request (this channel is usually housed
in the I400 NMR spectrometer)
- deuterium decoupling module
- tri-axis pulsed field gradient module
- Enhanced VT unit with high-stability option and pre-conditioning unit
- TMC antivibration system
- waveform generator for shaped pulses
- Probes:
- Varian tri-axis PFG triple resonance H/C/N probe
- Nalorac Z-axis PFG triple resonance H/C/(15N-31P) probe
- Varian 15N-31P broadband probe
