ITG has disabled their misconfigured backup process until it can be fixed. So long term runs should be reliable again.

These instruments have been restarted again with PC reboots.

The I500, I400 and VXR400 stopped working since last night due to a communication issue between the spectrometers and their host computers. They have been reset this morning and are working now.

Last night, an user put a bare spinner (without a sample tube on it) into the magnet after his/her use of the spectrometer, which apparently causes problems as the spinner cannot be ejected out afterward. PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN.

The spinning problem on the Gem300 has been fixed.

The computer controlling the cold probe is not working. 600 is down until further notice.

Unclaimed NMR tubes will be disposed of in the next week. Please take your own tubes today and starting tomorrow take any of the tubes you’d use.

The new network card has been installed. The printer is working now.

The 600 is up running again.

600 is not available due to the cold probe maintenance (warming up). It will be ready again sometimes tomorrow. Please check this website for update.
